In the competitive landscape of today’s business world, recognition and accolades play a crucial role in differentiating exceptional companies from their counterparts. For Voltora Industries, being recognised for business excellence has been the dream. After three years of persistent submission entries, we finally emerged victorious, winning the Master Electrician’s South Queensland Electrician of the Year 2023, solidifying our position as a true industry leader.
At Voltora we pride ourselves on delivering excellence in customer service and quality workmanship. It’s something we have always lived by. We are Gold Master Electricians, which is the highest accreditation in the electrical industry, so what else could set us apart? The dream was to be recognised by winning an Award that would also remind us of how well we are all doing as a team. This will also encourage us to continue to deliver excellent customer service and quality work.
Since 2021, we’ve entered the Master Electricians Awards in multiple categories, including the Major Award for Master Electrician of the Year. We always ended up as a finalist which is an impressive achievement in itself, but we were determined to win. We still knew we were doing well because we were making it to finalist stage, but also knew there was always room for improvement. Taking this onboard, we continued to build on this within the business and continued to make submissions.
During July and August 2023, Voltora Industries was in the thick of award season. This year we also entered the Moreton Bay Business and Innovation Awards for Entrepreneur of the Year, Innovation Award and Customer Service Award. Again, we were finalists in 2 of the 3 categories.
Saturday 5th August 2023 at the Master Electrician Awards at the Hilton Brisbane. The Electrical Industry’s night of nights. Once again, we were a finalist for the major award. The QLD Awards were quickly coming to an end, the main course was beginning to be served when it was time to announce the winner of Master Electricians’ Electrician of the Year 2023, and then…we heard it… Voltora Industries! We did it! We won! We honestly couldn’t believe what we had just heard. Managing Director Tory Ogden, walked up to the podium and thanked Master Electricians for the honour. He also thanked the Voltora Team, dedicating the award to them. The excitement of winning was hard to comprehend. Then it hit us, not only had we won, but we were also finalists for the National Awards! What an honour!
As it turned out, we didn’t win Nationals but to win the state award and become a National finalist felt like a magnificent achievement. We are incredibly honoured and grateful to have been recognised for our business acumen, commitment to professionalism, quality, people, safety and business operations in the electrical industry. This achievement would not have been possible without the amazing support of our talented team and our valued customers.
